Torres finally scores for Spain

Fernando Torres finally scored for Spain as they comfortably beat South Korea 4-1  on Wednesday for their second friendly win for the Euro 2008 and 2010 World Cup winners before they attempt to retain the European Championship.

Torres showed something like his old self managing to head the ball and score with his back to goal. That strike came in the 11th minute as Spain played out the match at the AFG Arena, St. Gallen, the former Liverpool hitman and Chelsea Champions League winner will delighted for his first goal for Spain in nearly a year.

Kim Do-heon equalized for South Korea to go into the break level but Spain soon scored after half time with two set pieces thanks to hand balls which meant Xabi Alonso converted a 52nd-minute penalty before Santi Cazorla stroked home a free kick soon after.

Alvaro Negredo, who has replaced the injured striker David Villa in the Euro 2012 squad aded the fouth goal for Spain which rounded off a great night for the Spanish and inparticular Fernando Torres.
