Premier League Betting: Latest Title Odds

20 Jul

Premier League football is only a matter of a month away and at Footballbetting365.net we cannot for the action to start. When it comes to football betting the Premier League is by far the best league to bet on and with no winter break to interrupt the football action there are opportunities to make good money throughout the entire season.

All attention will turn to the two Manchester clubs as they look to do battle again for the top prize in English football. City are the reigning champions after narrowly beating their city rivals to the title on the final day of the season. Here is a little run down of the latest betting odds for the 2012/13 Premier League title winner.

Manchester City – 13/10

Manchester won their first ever Premier League title thanks to the management of Roberto Mancini and David Platt and looking at their squad it’s possible they could dominant English football for years. Money isn’t an issue for the Manchester club nor is attracting the top talent with Robin van Persie next on the shopping list. However City will be expecting a much sterner challenger from Chelsea this season and Manchester United will be in the title race as ever.

Manchester United – 13/5

United were far from their best last season however they only lost the title by goal difference which makes you wonder what they would be like if they managed to hit top gear this season. The Premier League has been graced by some of the greatest Manchester United sides but this current side isn’t one of them. Sir Alex has invested over £20 million already this summer and has a recent bid for van Persie turned down so expect them to invest further.

Chelsea – 11/2

Chelsea are the current FA Cup and Champions League holders but they were poor in last season’s Premier League finishing outside the top four. However they have signed the talented Hazard and Marin and will be looking to challenge the two sides from Manchester. Roberto Di Matteo will feel his side has the quality to compete and they proved against Barcelona last season that Chelsea are a very tough side to beat. Torres looking more like the player he once was and John Terry can put the racism claim behind him as they look to win the Premier League.

Arsenal – 12/1

It’s pretty much as you were for Arsenal after they look to be losing their captain yet again, Mr Wenger has acted quickly this time brining in Lukas Podolski and Oliver Giroud to replace the outgoing Dutchman but Arsenal look short even at 12/1 so don’t expect them to challenge any of the Manchester clubs.
