Rangers v East Fife betting preview

Manchester City in for Higuain as RVP Stalls

Manchester city were given a boost on Tuesday when it was revealed that Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain has given the green light to his private advisers to go ahead and initiate talks with Manchester city over a £30 million transfer that would see him join his fellow Argentinians Tevez and Aguero at Manchester city. The Madrid striker has been a dominant force alongside Ronaldo in La Liga has proven to Roberto Mancini that is able to join the squad full of high-quality players and compete at the top level and deal with the squad rotation that inevitably happens at the worlds best clubs with Benzema and Higuain often rotating.

Steven Pienaar Returns to Everton for £5 Million

Tottenham midfielder Stephen Pienaar has agreed to rejoin Everton ready for the 2012/13 Premier league season after a disappointing 18 months spell at Spurs. the midfielder is now 30 and has signed to the club where he made his name after returning on a loan deal in January meaning effectively only played for Tottenham for one year and while many would regard his time there is a failure he did show some glimpses and reminded Everton fans what they were missing in certain games including his good performance against Manchester United.

Manchester United Debt Burden Weighing Heavy on Fans

Manchester United have been owned by their American paymasters the Glazer’s for a good few years now and in that time there’s been a lot of dissent from a good section of the dedicated Manchester United fans mainly over the level of debt that has been placed onto the club in order to finance the purchase of the club for the American owners. The interest on the debt has been questioned and been seen by many fans as a burden that has been borne by the club in order for the owners to actually afford to buy the club in the first place. Of course this is how a lot of business works and is a credit to the way the club is being run that they can afford to service this debt and still make money and grow the business.

Dempsey Looks Set To Sign for Liverpool

Fulham’s player of the season has been left out of their trip to Switzerland for their pre-season training base where they will prepare for the 2012/13 Premier league season and what should be considered another European qualification bid with Martin Jol having settled in nicely to his role an adjusted well to life after Mark Hughes and Chris Coleman. it has already been reported on the website of Fenway sports group that the American Dempsey had signed for Liverpool only for that to be taken down after 24 hours when it was denied by fallen in what was an embarrassing scene for Liverpool football club and their American owners.

Manchester City must spend big to have a chance this season

There is an old saying in football that as soon as you stand still, you start to go backwards. Roberto Mancini said exactly that today and tried to pass the message to the fans and the club that last season was won at the last minute and that they haven’t got a huge gap to defend: they hardly have a gap at all if you considered the stream of disgruntled fans walking out early because they tough that Man City would have blown the title in the match against QPR. Roberto Mancini have the right experience to understand that if winning is difficult, defending titles is much more complicated than that.
